Song For A Pet Videos
Here are some of the various videos I have also created for clients. The basic song writing package I provide does not come with a video included. But it can be purchased as an add on. See pricing for more info on costings.
Chompy Face
Pepper is a schnoodle and she is auntie to Arlo the cavapoo puppy. Arlo loves to get Peppers attention by playfully biting at her face. He will bite at her beard, moustache or ears in the hopes of being played with. Arlo never realised that Pepper would learn this little trick herself back from him and chomp at his face too. So now they have endless fun playing the CHOMPY FACE game all day long…..Bless ’em.
Sasha Pretty Princess Cat – Sasha is an older pussy cat with lots of fun quirks she has built up over the years. She loves annoying the dog by stealing his favourite ball from right under his nose and is so posh that she now demands to be carried up the stairs by her servants (Her owners). I decided to give this song a baroque and regal feel as Sasha is a true feline princess. I didn’t have many photos of Sasha herself so I used AI to create a few fun images to make a video up from.
When Ralph Went Missing – I wrote this song about this black labrador dog when I found out he’d gone missing in Pipe Hall Farm one sunny Saturday evening in Spring. It tells the tale of what happened, how folks were on the lookout for him and what happened when he was eventually found.
Burrito Burrito Parka The Cavapoo – Parka is the friendliest dog you’ll ever meet. He doesn’t really get involved with other dogs and we suspect he thinks of himself as a human not a dog. Parka is a cavapoo / cavoodle whose favourite blanket has a burrito design on it. One of his many fun quirks is that he likes to “Save stones” from out of streams and rivers. We’re not entirely sure what it’s all about but it’s a lot of fun watching him dunk his head in the cold-cold water to help there poor pebbles out.
Arlo Darlo Doo – I wrote this very short little song after meeting Arlo for the first as a puppy (he was still with his siblings) for his owners. Loved from the very offset and such a fun cavpoo / cavoodle puppy to know.
Teegy Weegy Tegan The Westie – A song for infants and little kids to sing along to about what a West Highland Terrier like to get up to on a daily occurrence. Sometimes it’s fun to write simple songs to encourage little ones to sing along to and get into the spirit of music.
Duck Island – I wrote this song a few years ago while in the shower looking at some complimentary shower gel called “Duck Island” I had stolen obtained from a hotel somewhere while performing away with my indie rock wedding band Punch The Air. I thought it would be fun to take it all back to the 1960s / 1970s with a Brian Cant feel from Camberwick Green / Trumpton / Chigley vibe. Ah, the Golden era of kids TV, back when the world was still sain.
Long John Silver The Pirate Cat – This maine coon ragdoll went missing one day and upon his return had a leg missing. So of course he then became a pirate cat.
Percy The Owl – This is one of my own songs I wrote when I was about 10 years and then finally decided to record properly. I had a little soft toy owl called Percy and I’d sing this ditty constantly to annoy my brother and sister.
Pato Porco – Another song I wrote for no real reason a while back. Sometimes this dafts kids tv theme tune songs just come into my brain and I have to record them. I imagined this was a TV show about a duck pig hanging out with his pals at the river getting into all types of mischief. (Pato Porco actually means duck pig in Portugese)
Pete The Peacock – I live in Lichfield, Staffordshire and about once a year a peacock that we christened “Pete” escapes from nobody knows where where nearly. The lovely folk of Lichfield take his photo whenever they see him and upload the images to social media and we all enjoy his magical journeys throughout the area.
Ferguson The Fox – My sister had purchased a fox puppet from a car boot one day and he fast became my nephews new best furry friend. I wrote the chords and lyrics to this song in hardly any time at all and then shot and edited the video for it myself too. This video still makes me smile to this very day.
The Good Dog With The Bad Breath… – Poor old Parka, he always had such stinky breath, so much so that he had to have lots of teeth pulled out. Pepper on the other hand always has such lovely breath (Well for a dog anyway), but there was a time when she was a right handful. So I wrote this song about them.
